Some people come to coaching because of problems which feel very present in their lives. Some because they want to channel their power into their hopes and ambitions. They know coaching will raise their game, keep them focused and increase their chances. Others wish to deepen their spiritual or emotional grounding and drink more from the well of life.

Coaching serves you. Powerfully. Practically. Emotionally. Spiritually.

I have three particular coaching specialities:

  1. People suffering with stress and anxiety.
  2. People who want to transform their feelings, habits and behaviours.
  3. People who want the push to succeed at a higher level.

How it works

Coaching with me is simple. We have one coaching session per week or fortnight, working around holidays and other commitments as necessary. We meet by phone or Zoom video and share 60 to 90 minutes together. We reserve two hours though, just in case. There may be work for you between sessions. Each coaching agreement is unique, but typically we agree a three to six month extendable engagement.

Our sessions will be committed and filled with unconditional respect, confidentiality and time to pause, slow down and experience a high quality thinking space.

The first step is an enquiry contact from you by phone or email. Subject to my availability, the next step is for us to schedule a no cost, no obligations conversation. We'll start the work. If we both feel good about working together, only then will we start the paid engagement.

My give-back project: Coaching for tips

Not everyone can afford a standard coaching agreement, but I don't want that to stop us connecting if coaching would be powerful for you right now. I maintain a limited number of spaces for coaching done on a 'tipping' basis. There's no term commitment. There's no fixed price. The sessions are one hour and subject to limited availability. I coach. You tip based on what you can afford.

As stated on the front page, opportunities to work with me definitely exist but are limited. I prefer to work with the quality rather than the quantity of the relationships I open.

Questions and answers

What is coaching?

Coaching is expert facilitation which supports you through facing your problems, achieving your goals and deepening your spiritual and emotional grounding. It creates clarity and fortitude. You could say it's like fitness training for mind and spirit except it is facilitated by presence, exploration and insightful discovery rather than arduous exercise.

Why reserve two hours?

A concentrated session could be about 45 minutes. I want us to be in no rush, though. Rushing all the time is probably why you seek coaching in the first place. I want us to be able to go slow as well as go fast. I want us to have an abundance of space and time for our work to unfold. I don't want us to have to call time on conversations that aren't complete for now.

What's the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching is not therapy, but it is therapeutic. Treating psychological trauma is the domain of therapy. Work on your problems and goals is the domain of coaching. Personal work such as overcoming fears and bad habits, deepening your emotional and spiritual grounding and working through challenging circumstances can be in both domains.

Does coaching involve giving advice?

Coaching isn't about telling you what to do. That would be infantilisation, the opposite of what coaching aims to do. You are the expert on you. Coaching channels your own strength, courage, motivation and clarity, so you find your own answers and find it within you to rise up to your challenges. Coaching facilitates you but does not take over.

Do you coach in the evenings?

Due to people's working schedules, that's actually when I do most of my coaching.

Will you do NLP sessions rather than a coaching programme?

Yes, if you don't really want a coaching programme but would like some NLP sessions to make changes to your feelings and behaviours, that is possible. Just make contact.
